According to 2001 census, about 72% of the Indian population live in rural areas. Majority of these rural masses suffer from either Mental or Physical disabilities, and due to lack of medical support most of them have a very low life expectancy.

This generated a need for a well-equipped charitable hospital where people could get complete treatment under one roof. This gave a momentum to a charitable hospital in the rural areas of Western Rajasthan . Thus to fulfill this ever demanding need of a fit and healthy society few “God sent PERSONNELS” came together in 1977 & made a humble beginning by acquiring 100 acres of land near Sumerpur wherein the foundation stone was laid by his Excellency the then President of India, Late Shri Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy in the presence of a huge gathering of people on 17 th February 1978 . The construction by the grace of God was completed and his Excellency, then President of India, Late Shri Giani Zail Singh on 05.07.1987, inaugurated the hospital.
